Heritage

I asked my parents for help looking for any type of family heritage with little luck. Unfortunately, we are not very close with our extended family due to conflict and substance abuse on both sides, my parents couldn't try to contact our relatives for the information they didn't have. What they did tell me, though is that my ethnicity is predominately German and that I had a great-great-great Grandmother (maybe more greats, maybe less...!) that emigrated from Germany to settle in the US in the mid-1800s. My mom also told me that she has a little bit of native American in her which I thought was pretty cool!
