This is the trailer for the 1984 Film "The Killing Fields" that we talked about in class. For me, seeing this trailer makes the experience of the South East Asian American experience much more real. I can actually see how deeply the wars of their countries affected them; the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot's killing fields were absolutely atrocious. Like the narrator said, I am beginning to learn to both love and pity this country and these people who came from it. It must have been so difficult immigrating; I am learning to respect them.
