Over the past couple of days I have been thinking about the differences between people. If there is a difference between people, where that difference would lie. I have also started watching Heros, what better show than that to emphasize the difference between humans and how little things matter and the interconnectedness of it all. One thing that stands out to me is how all of the characters have looked past the race issue and moved forward  They have replaced the issue of race though with the issue of power, the characters in the show also have a double consciousnesses  One character in particular shows that term. The character played by Hayden Patienter leads two different lives the live where she lives at school and with her parents and the live where she is trying to understand and improve her powers.
