In fridays Class we watched a youtube video on Margret Cho. We learned that she went through many depressive states in her life. Through her ups and downs in her career and still came out a very great comedian. Well I went in search of more information about her and stumbled on Henry Cho. I don't believe there is any relation between the two.
Henry Cho is a second generation Korean american born in Knoxville,Tennessee. He is 51 years old now and has been doing stand up comedy since 1986. Much of his comedy deals with him as an Asian American in the south. Below is a video of him from 1992 on the Tonight Show, it is a little dated, but I chose this video because it show's him with a strong true southern accent which I know Doug will like and it gives a glimpse of his life, Asian american family, and how he approaches racism.

ReplyDeleteI don't think they're related, but I could be wrong. I've seen Henry Cho on the Comedy Channel--he's pretty good. I do like his accent.
